Hubby Birthday 19.03.2014

Traditional, we will cook a birthday Mee Suah for the birthday girl/boy for longevity purpose.
Mee Suah is a noodle look likes angel hair but it is white in colour.
My hubby don't like to eat Mee Suah so i cooked Mamee Curry Noodle with fish fillet for him.

i cooked 2 packs, so he can live longer x 2...haha.... =^ O ^=

I don't know why need to cook red egg. I just do it.....

He can't take egg but who cares...

This is my first time doing red eggs...

Just hard boiled egg + red coloring + vinegar + plastic bag + kitchen towel

I thought it is very easy but....

Sigh....my papa in law said there weren't cooked.

Oh my god!!! luckily my papa in law is not Gordan Ramsay....

It is RAW!!!!!!!! Fainted!

Then, we went to watch movie in First Avenue, Penang.

Movie: Need for Speed

This is a slow movie for a title called Need for Speed.

It is quite straight forward.

I love Julia. She is clever & charming...

Besides, who don't like show that have pretty girls & cars...
Lamborghini, Ferrari, Mustang & so on...
Honey, i felt so sorry when they gotta destroy the cars for movie....such a waste!

It is just a show, don't have hard feeling... ><lll

Tea Time at Dome

I prefer Hot Chocolate in a ceramic mug as it keep warm.
A shot seems not enough for a Hot Chocolate.
I am actually hoping it is a slightly stronger & HOT Chocolate with a layer of thick milk foam...

Their Cranberry Cooler quite refreshing...

Cranberry Juice + Apple Juice + Sprite over Ice
This is quite sour but I love this drink!

Devil Chocolate Steamed Cake (Vegetarian) 19.03.2014

Devil Chocolate Steamed Cake (Vegetarian)

Ingredients:
2 cups of all purpose flour
1 cups of organic pure chocolate powder
1 cups of brown sugar

1 pack of yeast
1 1/2 cups of water (30 °C)

Filling:
Peanut Butter (less sweet & chunky)
Almond Slices

Decoration:
Royal icing/ fondant
Icing sugar
Strawberry
Almond Slices

Methods:

1. Dissolve yeast into the 1 1/2 cups of water. 

2. Mix all the ingredients.

3. Mix 1 & 2. Put at warm place let the yeast to their work.

4. Steam at high heat till boiling then turn to medium heat for 30-40 min (depends on how big is your cake mould). (I steamed using traditional way, not microwave style ya...)

5. Cut after the cake cool down.

6. Cut the cake into two pieces and spread the jam/peanut butter or anything you like on the cake and cover it with another one.

7. Knit the royal icing with icing sugar and roll it. Cover the cake with the fondant and decorate the cake.

My hubby is allergy to many foods including egg & dairy products. This cake was make for him for his birthday. He love the cake. Hope can create more allergy free foods for him... ^o^

I love the chamomile infusion. It has very light fragrant and taste.

I have insomnia problem and I can sleep soundly even i drink it before sleep.

话说我家小弟第一次考车牌L（菜牛牌）尽然没有肥楼，

就带他去吃些好吃的慰问他这一个星期的努力。

选了这间打着 U-Deserve 的Slogan来奖励他一下.

小女太爱吃芝麻和花生了，所以这道甜品好好吃哦！

口感像汤圆 Muzi Muzi 沾上花生，芝麻和糖，口感好好！赞！
I love the combination of sesame and peanut. The rice balls are very Q & tender. Very NIce!

2. 加里鱼蛋

好久没吃加里鱼蛋了，好怀念的味道...

不喜欢吃甜的男生应该会喜欢...^o^
I miss curry fish ball very much.

I always eat outside my school when I am at secondary school.

酸甜适中，不会像市面上的太酸了...好喝！
Nice drink!

优甜品的价格蛮大众化的，甜品也很好吃....

唯一的问题是，生意太好了..有时可能需要稍微等一下（座位）！

他们上甜品也超快的...

还会再去！
