Devil Chocolate Steamed Cake (Vegetarian)
Ingredients:
2 cups of all purpose flour
1 cups of organic pure chocolate powder
1 cups of brown sugar
2 cups of all purpose flour
1 cups of organic pure chocolate powder
1 cups of brown sugar
1 pack of yeast
1 1/2 cups of water (30 °C)
1 1/2 cups of water (30 °C)
Filling:
Peanut Butter (less sweet & chunky)
Almond Slices

Decoration:
Royal icing/ fondant
Icing sugar
Strawberry
Almond Slices
Methods:
1. Dissolve yeast into the 1 1/2 cups of water.
2. Mix all the ingredients.
3. Mix 1 & 2. Put at warm place let the yeast to their work.
4. Steam at high heat till boiling then turn to medium heat for 30-40 min (depends on how big is your cake mould). (I steamed using traditional way, not microwave style ya...)
5. Cut after the cake cool down.
6. Cut the cake into two pieces and spread the jam/peanut butter or anything you like on the cake and cover it with another one.
7. Knit the royal icing with icing sugar and roll it. Cover the cake with the fondant and decorate the cake.
My hubby is allergy to many foods including egg & dairy products. This cake was make for him for his birthday. He love the cake. Hope can create more allergy free foods for him... ^o^
